Prayer for Pastors
How often do you pray for the leaders in your church? I don't do that nearly enough. I found this prayer to be very helpful to direct my mind and thoughts and prayers to supporting my church leaders and missionaries. They often face difficulties and struggles we know nothing about, and yet they must continue to lead. They need God's help, and we can support them in that by our prayers.

L ORD, we pray that our pastors and church leaders whom you have chosen will please you. Put your Spirit on them and enable them to proclaim justice to the nations. Keep our leaders calm in the face of disruption and chaos, merciful to those who are weak, and an encouragment to those who are struggling. Through their ministry, may the cause of justice be victorious, and in your name may they bring hope to all the world.
LORD, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
