Looking forward with hope
Life can get us down. There are so many problems we can't fix. Sometimes we even wonder if it is worth continuing to try. But we have hope in the One who does have the power to change things. And there will be a day when all will be made right. We can live with a lot of issues, provided we have hope. Let's pray for that confidence in God to bring hope to the despairing and to ourselves as well.

L ORD, we look forward to the day when the deaf will hear and the blind will see through the gloom and darkness; when the poor will be filled with fresh joy from you, LORD; when the needy will rejoice in you, the Holy One. LORD, we pray for the day when the tyrants will be gone, the mockers will disappear, and all those who plot evil will come to an end. May those who convict the innocent by their false testimonies disappear along with those who use trickery to pervert justice and those who tell lies to destroy the innocent.
LORD, for those who live in difficult circumstances, may they be confident that in you there is hope.
