A year of war in Ukraine
We are just noting the first anniversary of Russia's war with Ukraine. How much suffering has taken place in both countries? How long will this continue? We know the people of Russia are not evil, but there is evil at work in the leadership of that great land. The poor and the orphans are suffering and need our prayers. They need HOPE most of all, and that hope comes from God. Let's pray for their protection and relief. May there be no more anniversaries to note.

Praying for BIG Things
Hope
L ORD, surely you have seen and taken note of your people’s trouble and grief and placed them under your control. These people who are in trouble are looking to you for guidance. You are the One who helps the needy.
Break the power of the wicked and evil people who hurt others. Punish them for the evil they do. LORD, you are King forever and ever. Remove godless nations from the earth. LORD, you know the hopes of the helpless. Hear their cries and comfort them. Protect the orphans and put an end to their suffering so that they will no longer need to be afraid because of evil people.
LORD, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
