Drought
L ORD, the seeds shrivel in the soil; our storehouses are empty, and barns are torn down, for the grain has dried up. The animals groan and wander aimlessly looking for pasture. LORD, we cry to you, for the heat has devoured the pastures, even in the wilderness. The drought has burned up all the trees of the field, and even the animals pant for you, for the brooks and streams have dried up, and fire has devoured the pastures.
LORD, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
