A prayer for Ukraine's refugees
What would you need if you suddenly had to leave your country with only one suitcase? Peace and safety would be high on my list. We are grateful for the neighboring countries who are showing compassion and care for those fleeing Russian aggression. Let's offer our prayers for those in distress that God will provide places of safety for each person. As they receive care, may they also know God's peace in the midst of their loneliness and despair.

Peace and safety
L ORD, we pray for people who find themselves wandering in unknown and sometimes hostile lands.
They can find no safe place to stay. They are hungry and thirsty, and they are discouraged. In their misery, they cry out to you, LORD. Save them from their troubles. Lead them on a straight road to a place where they can live in peace and safety. Satisfy the thirsty and fill up the hungry with good things. Then may they give thanks to you, LORD, for your love and for the miracles you do for them.
LORD, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
