Ramadan begins on March 11
Ramadan is the Muslim month of fasting from dawn to dusk. It is a time that encourages community as they suffer together. It is also a time to seek a word from God, and those are the people we Christians want to pray for during this time. We want them to be freed from the works to become right with God, to having a faith that makes them right with God through Jesus. Join me this month to pray for the salvation and enlightenment of many during the season of Ramadan.

L ORD, be merciful to the Muslim people and bless them in this season of Ramadan. May your face smile with favor on them as you make your ways known to them during this season. May your saving power be at work among Muslim people everywhere.
May the nations come to praise you, O God; yes, may all the Muslim people worship you in truth. Let the whole world sing for joy as Muslims come to know the one who governs the nations with justice and guides the people of the whole world into peace.

Then the earth will yield its harvests, and God, our God, will richly bless all of us.
Yes, God, please bless us. May people all over the world come to respect, love, and revere you.
LORD, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
