After her difficult start, Meryt-Neith's growth into a strong child had been at first imperceptible, and then a sudden blossoming of long legs and arms and beautiful, silky, golden hair. She loved to dance, begging the ladies who danced at the temple to teach her their steps. She was a natural, swinging her head so that her long hair flew around her body. Her movements were fluid and innately elegant.
Shuet had been the one who stayed inside, often sleeping most of the day and spending her waking time on the roof observing the stars. Shuet was the one without friends.
