A collection of Author JZ Murdock's fiction with elements of Horror, Humor and Sci Fi. Includes in the final story, the novella, "Andrew", which is a precursor of the following book, Death of Heaven. From Twilight Zone to the absurd, it's quite a ride.
Sarah, was a story that started with a girl at my University telling me about her Grandmother. We had left our Abnormal Psych class and were talking between classes. The stories she told me of what Alzheimer's was like for her beloved Grandmother were affecting and sad. I felt I had to share that with people to give them some idea of what this disease was like to experience and for the family to live with. But knowing me, I couldn't let it go with merely relating the stories I had been told. I had to take it beyond the realm of Human experience. Some True Tales, some Twilight Zone, some Horror movie, Sarah twists and turns till you're not quite sure where you are.

The horror of what was happening
finally stung Sarah across her chest, her breathing now almost
impossible. On the floor now she crawled toward the hall— clutching
at the worn, Oriental area rug. Hollow sounds were echoing up from
beneath her, from beneath the floor, from far beneath the house,
indicating the vast abyss below beckoning to her.
