The skies were clear as the sun beamed profoundly throughout the blue above, Katie also known as Katherine Bell, leaned back against the old barn. A breeze took her back to the early days when she was just a child when she and Charlie used to play out in the wildflowers just beyond the house. The country's air was so refreshing; it was nothing like the city where the exhaust was all you could smell. Katie tipped back the water bottle. She missed the big city and the excitement it held but knew she could never go back there again; besides, she found it refreshing to be back on the ranch, working with the horses once again.
