Levi sat, appreciating the view. He leaned against a large rock next to the stunning waterfall. The sun was blazing; it shone brightly on the lively village while the sky cast a warm breeze. He rolled his shoulders, relaxing while the mist from the waterfall hit him, leaving him refreshed. Why couldn't all worlds be like this, he thought, wiping the sweat from his brow.
Across the way, something caught his eye. A few workers from the wolf's clan were maintaining the fields. In particular, one drew his attention. She was tall with a tiny build; her hair fell past her shoulder blades; it held an elegant twist. She had naturally dark-toned skin; her eyes were bright, but it was her smile that captured him. It was more brilliant than the sun; even the waterfall couldn't compare. The wolf's smile lit up her surroundings as she laughed with the others.
Levi watched her intensively; it hard to look away. If he blinked, would she disappear from his sight? He noticed the softness of her personality, the strength her body held; in his eyes, she was perfect. The woman grinned, high fiving a child as they ran by, cheering and running through the field with others.
Levi's jaw fell; he sat with a raised brow. She smiled, took a drink of cold water, then casually poured it over her head. Water flowed down her long charcoal hair, along her face, soaking her shirt. Levi felt his heart flutter; he turned his head, closed his eyes, then promptly leaned back against the rock, hoping no one saw him drooling.
