The next morning JoAnn said, “Our plane leaves soon, but I think we have time to make one more stop.”
They went to St. Patrick’s Cathedral to light a candle and say a prayer that they would find his mom and dad.
As they walked into the church, Sir Pigglesworth’s eyes opened wide. He completely forgot his manners.
He ran straight down the aisle to where two pigs were standing with their heads bowed over candles.
“Mom! Dad!” the little pig squealed loudly, wrapping his hooves around them.
“I’ve been looking everywhere for you! I’m so happy to find you at last.”
The Duke and Duchess were surprised to see their son! They had just been lighting a candle and saying a prayer that they would find him.
JoAnn stood back letting them have their moment alone as they cried and hugged, happy to be together at last.
“We have so much to tell you!” his mom said smiling.
“There was a balloon in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade that looked just like you. You should have been there!”
His mom and dad thanked JoAnn for taking such good care of their son and they all said goodbye.
The Pigglesworth family went to the airport to head home. But they wouldn’t be there long...
“We’ll be heading out on another vacation soon,” his dad said. “This time you’re going with us. We don’t ever want to lose you again.”
Sir Pigglesworth smiled. He wondered what adventures would await him.
After all, everywhere he goes, excitement follows!
