As soon as the door of the bus from the airport opened, out hopped Sir Pigglesworth. He was so excited to be seeing his friends JoAnn and Bill again.
He hadn’t seen them since he left New York City after they found his mom and dad. He had lots to tell them!
They were waiting on the sidewalk just as excited to see Sir Pigglesworth as he was to see them. They couldn’t wait to surprise him.
He thought he was just visiting them at the hotel...little did he know they were going to take him on a cruise to Bermuda!
After they settled in their room, they went to have dinner at the restaurant on the top floor of the hotel.
The floor was turning very slowly, and the city was lit up with millions of twinkling lights!
Sir Pigglesworth’s eyes danced with delight at the changing view.
He happily told JoAnn and Bill about all that had happened since he’d last seen them.
It had been a long flight from London, so they all went to bed after their dinner.
Tomorrow the real excitement would begin!
“We’re going on a boat! we’re going on a boat!” Sir Pigglesworth sang as he boarded the ship.
“Yes, you are my little friend,” someone said.
Sir Pigglesworth turned and saw a man all dressed in white clothes wearing a hat with a gold anchor on it.
Never one to miss a chance to make friends, Sir Pigglesworth dropped his suitcase and held out his hoof.
“I’m Sir Pigglesworth,” he said politely. “Who are you?”
“I’m Captain Mikael Hilden,” the man said. “It’s very nice to meet you. Welcome aboard the Norwegian Breakaway.”
Sir’s eyes grew wide. “You’re the captain of this ship?” he asked.
“This is almost as exciting as the time I met the Queen!”
Captain Hilden laughed. “I would love to hear all about that,” he said.
“Why don’t you and your friends join me for dinner at my table tonight?”
“We would be honored,” Sir Pigglesworth said as he skipped away, his friends trailing along behind him.
“This ship has lots for you to do. What would you like to do first?” Bill asked once they had settled in their cabin.
“What can I do?” Sir Pigglesworth asked.
“There’s a children’s camp called Splash Academy,” JoAnn told him. “You can spin plates, see clowns, juggle scarfs, and lots of other fun things.”
“Would you like to check that out?”
Sir Pigglesworth batted his eyes at her and said, “You had me at spinning clowns.”
“That’s not what I said,” JoAnn tried to explain, but Sir Pigglesworth was already out the door.
