Expect Trouble
Today was the day. This afternoon started the search for psychics. After reading all the documents sent by The Watch, Trey was even more convinced his father dropped him into a God-awful mess. He still had no clue what interview questions to ask a psychic. Normal employment interviews were a cinch. He’d been through enough of them and on either side of the hiring desk. Before enlisting, he’d interviewed engineering applicants for the Philadelphia research plant of Minneapolis Honeywell.
He glanced at his watch. Five of two. He needed to leave for the Macpherson home. He put the papers into his briefcase, added his slide rule, locked it and headed for his car and driver. Time had run out. He’d wing it.
