Kelley knew she needed some help if she was going to get to the bottom of this. She picked up her cell phone and called the one person she knew she could count on, now that Aunt Helee was gone: her best friend, Grace.
Kelley and Grace had been best friends since high school. Grace always had Kelley’s back. Whenever Kelley felt like giving up, Grace was always there to give her some much needed encouragement. She was easy-going and funny, but tough when she needed to be. And when she got tough, it was a fearsome sight to behold. That’s why, in Kelley’s opinion, Grace made such a great corporate lawyer.
“Hello?” Grace said.
“Grace? Its Kelley.”
“Hey Kel!” Grace said, happily. “What’s up?”
“I need some help,” said Kelley.
Grace came over after work and Kelley filled her in on everything: what she heard on the news, talking with Dr. Barnes, and her encounter with the nurse.
