After all that's gone on with the cases, the public is tired of all of the corruption going on. There's an outrage amongst citizens and I wrote it from Gary's perspective. This is starting to take a toll as he can't escape any of it and it's right in front of his face daily.

Code Blue An Oath to the Badge and Gun
The city has ended up in a big social divide now, it’s getting crazy,
As soon as I walk out of my house, the madness begins.
Coming into work with black citizens standing in front of the police station,
Protesting their anger and frustration as they look at all of us in disgust.
This went on for hours at a time every day for weeks,
Spending hours a day in front of the station as we couldn’t make them go away.
My department had to allocate officers to be in front of the station to keep the peace,
Which took away from most of us being on patrol most nights.
It was like a wild circus in our city as people were standing in front of every precinct,
The people I used to talk to on a daily basis couldn’t stand to look at me.
