Code Blue An Oath to the Badge and Gun
Another police bulletin, another pile of corruption to commit,
I’m not quite sure how to manage all of this anymore.
This is taking a toll on my mind, body and soul,
Especially having to work extra hours because of these cases.
I work the overnight shift for the most part but I come in early,
And even stay late which causes me to miss family time.
But I’m looking after my paycheck and my pension,
It’s pretty obvious since I haven’t reported anyone on this mess.
With five informants on my hands, it’s a lot of time managing them,
My partners have complete control over all of this, which is crazy.
I’m in the car going for the rides and doing a little talking,
Just watching, observing and secretly recording everyone.
