The Making of A Great America Uprooting the Spirit of Racism

What is this book about?

“The Making of A Great America Uprooting the Spirit of Racism” is a sequel to “The Making of A Great America Where the Founding Fathers and the Church Fell Short.” Both books are a mix of the spiritual and the historical. Both books are a commentary on racism in America that looks at the subject from the view of Scripture, history, and politics. I think that’s what makes the books unique. They are books filled with Scripture and biblical provocation but at the same time filled with little known historical facts about racism and the politics of racism in America. Why is the history important? Glad you asked. We have all heard the phrase, “if you don’t understand the history of a thing…,” or “when we fail to learn the lessons of history, we are doomed to repeat them.”

There are many lessons from America’s battles with racism in the 1950s and ‘60s that we are repeating. I believe that we are repeating them because we don’t understand that there is a spiritual underpinning to racism. As a result, the passage of time and changes in the economy, political parties, or education will never solve it. Yes, changes in all these man-made systems will improve the racial climate in the U.S., but without addressing the spiritual component, these efforts will fall short.

In “Uprooting the Spirit of Racism,” I use Scriptures that identify racism as a vile, evil, murderous spirit that is part of the devil’s plan to steal, kill and destroy in the earth, in America. The other Scriptures I use help to focus on our responsibilities as individuals not to give racism a place in our hearts.

I had the idea to share the Table of Contents and the Bibliography from the book. You will not see Scriptural references in the Bibliography, but the cited references will give you an idea of the historical and political content of the book. A glance at the Bibliography will let you know that it’s much more than just a “spiritual” book. It’s filled with history and political commentary. Again, you ask why the mix of Scripture, history, and politics? I believe I don’t believe that you can understand America’s current racial condition without looking at its history and its politics through the lens of Scripture.

I have also included a “Link Legend” this table provides a list of all the links to video footage included in this book. Warning most of these links contain graphic footage from police bodycams, dashcams, or cell phones. This footage is a vital component of this book. Without it, the reader will not connect the underlying emotions to the words. We also know from the Bible that sin thrives in darkness and that the enemy would prefer that his operations be kept out of the light. These links shine the light on the operation of the spirit of racism in America and urge the reader to consider their own spiritual response and faith-filled actions.
