The Making of A Great America Made in the Image of TRUMP

Introduction

The only force proven strong enough to tear America apart is racism. Not the forces of communism and socialism, not even the difference in religious beliefs, Christian and non-Christian. The Founding Fathers saw the tremendous power of unity. They were extremely visionary in their attempts to build a nation in which every former European had equal and “inalienable” rights under God. However, as visionary as the Founding Fathers were, they did not have the vision for America that God did. In “The Making of a Great America Where the Founding Fathers and the Church Fell Short” (MGA Vol I), I talked about the shortsightedness of Founding Fathers who could not see the blessings of America being extended to anyone other than Europeans:

“Franklin envisioned the greatness of America and acknowledged that the source of her greatness was the providence of God and indeed part of God’s plan. He saw the great impact that our values could have on the world. He saw the great promise of prosperity, even generational wealth for immigrants to America.

The problem is that Franklin only envisioned the promises of the “New World” being obtained by the inhabitants of the “Old World,” Europe. I have poured over Franklin’s writings, and nowhere can I find any evidence that his vision of a great America included anyone other than Europeans.”

God had a vision for America that was greater than just a haven for European immigrants. God had a vision of America that more closely resembled Heaven as described in Rev 7:9-10: “ After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

Acts 17:26 (NKJV) says that God “has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.” The NIV version reads like this, “From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.” When I apply that verse to America, I see God deliberately setting up a place with specific “boundaries” and “marking out” a “preappointed time” where different nations of men, of the same blood, would come together. It’s as if I see God looking across time to determine when He would bring together a multi-ethnic group, a red-white-black-brown-yellow nation of people to honor Him and seek Him and be a reflection of what Heaven would be like.

In Gen 11:1-9, we read the story of the tower of Babel. At that time, the Bible says that all men had “one language and a common speech (Gen 11:1). In Babel, not only did they have one language, but I believe Scripture later reveals that they were also united across ethnicities, with every nation of the earth represented in that one location. The Bible says that the unity across all ethnicities and languages was so powerful that nothing would be impossible for them: “ The Lord said, ‘If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.’” (Gen 11:6)

Unfortunately, though they were united across ethnicities and language, they used the power of that unity to rebel against God. In Gen 11:7-9, we see that the power of unity across ethnicities was so strong that God had to come down from Heaven, confuse their languages and then scatter them “over the face of the whole earth” to keep that power from being used against Him. I believe this scattering is what caused ethnic groups to be spread all over the world.

God had already started over with the human race because their thoughts and imaginations were continually against Him. He sent the “flood” recorded in Genesis 6:5-7, and He said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created.” Instead of wiping out the people of Babel, He scattered them, but I believe He had a plan to one day gather another multi-ethnic nation to fulfill His great purposes in the earth.

I believe in God’s great plan that America is the site of a deliberate do-over, a modern-day Babel. I believe that God does not want to give up on His plan to build a nation on earth that will reflect the demographic of Heaven, “a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language.” (Rev 7:9-10) Again, it’s as if I can see God “marking out a predetermined time in history” (Acts 17:26) when trans-oceanic travel would be possible to begin to gather together red, white, black, brown, and yellow people all in one place, here in America.

Before America was “America,” there were “red” men, Native Americans scattered across it from east to west. In the Southwest, there were people that today were the ancestors of today’s Mexican Americans. When travel across the ocean became possible, I believe God began to assemble Europeans here. I’m writing this passage the day after Thanksgiving, November 27th, 2020. I want to focus on the picture of the first Thanksgiving. In this setting, the Pilgrims worked peacefully with the Indians while also witnessing by giving thanks to their God. I believe this picture was a prophetic foreshadowing of what God wanted to happen here in America, across ethnicities, from the very beginning.

In our rewriting of history, we want to paint the Native Americans as savages and heathens who were rescued by force from their savagery and ignorance of God. As a nation, we have forgotten that the Native Americans taught those early settlers how to thrive in an environment that was totally foreign and harsh. America would not have been possible had the Pilgrims only encountered hostile Indians in their first landings. By the same token, America wouldn’t have been possible without the arrival of the Europeans. It was this type of interaction, done in a cooperative spirit, that God wanted to model at the founding of our great nation. Enter the spirit of racism.

In MGA Vol II, I said, “The spirit of racism is a vile, murderous spirit… I believe it is one of the ranking principalities over America. There is an atmosphere, a ‘high place’ over America where this evil spirit has been allowed to remain comfortable.” I believe that as God began to assemble a great multi-ethnic nation, a new Babel, that the devil, the great divider, the one who successfully divided Heaven, began to use the murderous spirit of racism to try to destroy America and her destiny before she became a nation. Here’s how I described the operation of the spirit of racism in MGA Vol II:

“More than any other issue, racism has both divided and defined America. More than any other issue, including abortion, the spirit of racism has led to death. The spirit of racial hatred caused America’s early leaders to sanction the genocide of Native American tribes. The Native Americans that were depicted as friendly in our historical portrayals of the first Thanksgiving were massacred away from ‘sea to shining sea.’ From Plymouth Rock to the gold-rush coasts of California, this murderous spirit was allowed to taint the legacy of our great republic…

The spirit of racism caused even America’s most renowned patriots to ignore the horrific conditions that resulted in the deaths of multiplied thousands of Africans en route to enslavement in America. This spirit superintended the death, dismemberment, and rendering of unspeakable cruelty to African men, women, and children. Moreover, this spirit convinced Americans, including the Founding Fathers, to change the identities of Africans from ‘human’ to ‘slave’ and generationally erase their rights to freedom and even life.

In the generations following slavery, America and the American Church at the time participated in, endorsed, winked at, or turned a blind eye to the spirit of racism and its operation. In MGA (Vol I), I quote Jemar Tisby, who says a Christianity that allows racism and discord to coexist with it a ‘compromised Christianity.’…

Jesus said that the spirit of hatred was the same as the spirit of murder. The spirit of racism was the fuel needed to build a New Europe, exclusively for Europeans, on the American continent. The spirit of hatred was needed to fuel the massacres of the Native Americans and their forced relocation Westward and eventually onto reservations so that the greatest amount of American soil could be devoted to the New Europe.

 The spirit of hatred was needed to bring Africans on slave ships where the expected death rate was 12%. (Mintz, n.d.)The spirit of hatred was needed make slavery permanent, even generational, to build wealth for a New Europe only for Europeans.

The spirit of racism was allowed to become so prevalent in its operation in America that even Christians ignored every Biblical concept about how to treat other human beings, including Biblical concepts that spoke about how to treat slaves (Lev 25, Col 4:1, Eph 6:9, Deut 15:12-15).

Post-slavery expressions of the spirit of racism fueled Jim Crow legislation, lynchings, mass incarceration, segregation, gerrymandering, and suppression of voting rights, all in an attempt to preserve the New Europe for Europeans indefinitely. These hatred-inspired tools would attempt to create an invisible ‘reservation’ outside the plantation for the descendants of slaves so that they could live in a separate America, like the Native Americans, and not muddy the waters of the vision of a New Europe.

The spirit of racism was the instrument used to discriminate against Asians and Latin Americans to keep them from finding a place within New Europe, a place that would later become known as the ‘American Dream,’ or more recently, ‘Making America Great Again.’ Interestingly enough, the same tools were used to a lesser extent on the Germans, the Irish, Italians, and Eastern Europeans when they were considered ‘immigrants.’”

It may appear to some readers that I am leading up to the conclusion that racism originated with the Europeans. Nothing can be further from the truth! In MGA Vol I, I make it clear that racism is a spirit and, as such, is a heart issue, like hatred and murder. Africans sold other Africans into slavery. Indians killed other Indians long before the Europeans arrived. In the Bible, we see that the ruling Egyptians and Babylonians enslaved the Jews. Today we still have genocide, war, and atrocities. Matt 24:6-7 says that these rumors of war and nations and kingdoms rising up against each other will continue. It is the nature of man, not just the nature of white men.

Without God and the indwelling power of the Holy Ghost, men and women of every ethnicity are subject to their basest desires, urges, and the influence of the powers of hell.

The spirit of racism was responsible for the displacement and even massacre of the Native Americans, generational enslavement and murder of Africans, legislation that prevented Asian immigration for decades, demeaning of Mexican immigrants, and countless other atrocities. Despite the operation of this vile spirit and its great cost in terms of loss of life, I believe God’s desire for a multi-ethnic nation, submitted to his authority, will come to pass. I don’t believe that it was God’s will to massacre Indians, enslave Africans, or harm any ethnic group, but I believe that despite it, He has assembled one of the most ethnically diverse nations on earth.

I have already shared Acts 17:26 that God “ hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.” But I believe verse 27 reveals His purpose within these predetermined times in history and boundaries: “That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us.” I believe that the men and women of America are assembled in God’s new Babel. I believe that they have been assembled; despite their different ethnicities, so they would seek the Lord, feel after Him, and find Him. And as America finds Him, it would reflect God’s glory throughout the earth.

God said, “nothing was impossible” with the people of Babel because of the power of their unity across ethnicities. God wants to use the power of unity across ethnicities in America to fuel the spread of the gospel throughout the earth. The Old Testament residents of Babel sought to build a tower that would draw glory to themselves. God wants to be the light in the tower of the new Babel, here in America, a beacon of the hope of the gospel to the world.

I will close the introduction to this book with two quotes from MGA Vol II:

“Unity across the races is needed in order for America to fulfill its great destiny in the earth. Just as people have a ‘call of God’ on their lives, I believe America has a call in God’s great end-time plans for reconciliation of all the people of the Earth. America has an assignment given to her by God. It is the reason she has been given great wealth and prominence in the Earth at this time.”

“An all-white America with every other people group displaced to reservations, visible and invisible, is not God’s vision for America. This vision of America will not be the witness to the world that God intended. This compromised Christianity, built on the foundation of hate, discord, and division, dims ‘the light of the glorious gospel of Christ’ (2 Cor 4:4). It will not attract the predominantly brown, black, and yellow people groups of the world—and the devil knows it. Sadly, many Christians don’t know it.”
