Why Not Believe for a Miracle?
The Holy Spirit pointed out to me that Jesus never considered it too late to pray for someone. In two instances, Jesus raised people from the dead. "Terminal" is a modern word that wasn't in Jesus' vocabulary. Today when we say someone is terminal, we usually start thinking hospice/death/funerals. Miracles is a Bible word, not a word in a medical journal. I believe that miracles are a work of the Holy Spirit that we should pray for even if we don’t understand why they don’t always come to pass. John 14:12 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” Matt 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Acts 6:8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. Acts 8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 1 Cor 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

The excerpt below is the final page in the book. I called a Healing Checklist it was a summary of many things I talked about in the book and a few things that I didn't but that represented everything that I had ever heard or studied about healing.
Healing Checklist
[ ] Expect to receive what you prayed for (Mark 11:24)
[ ] Thank God in advance for your healing
[ ] Repent of all unbelief and words spoken contrary to your healing (Mark 9:24, Heb 4:16)
[ ] Stop sinning against your body/close any open doors (overeating, eating foods that are bad for you, smoking, alcohol in excess, poor exercise habits, etc.)[ ] Receive the mercy and grace of God (Heb 4:16)
[ ] Repent of all unforgiveness, bitterness
[ ] Have Elders lay hands on you, anoint with oil, pray (James 5:14-15)
[ ] Take prescribed medicine[ ] Follow the doctor’s orders/advice
[ ] Prayer of faith by others (James 5:15)
[ ] Laying on of hands (Mark 16:18, Acts 28:8)
[ ] Bind and loose (Bind sickness and spirits causing sickness/disease and loose God’s healing power, the “quickening” of the Holy Spirit (Matt 18:18, Rom 8:11)[ ] Repent if you have taken communion “unworthily” (1 Cor 11:27-30)
[ ] Fasting (yourself, others on your behalf) (Isaiah 58:8, Mar 9:29)
[ ] Find one or two more and pray in “agreement” for your healing (Matt 18:19)
[ ] Confess that you are spiritually covered by the “Blood of Jesus”; that it stands between you and Satan’s power to keep you sick. (Rev 12:11 (NKJV) “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb… word of their testimony.)
[ ] Find healing Scriptures to confess in faith over your life. Pray answers (from Scripture); don’t pray the problem.
[ ] Remind yourself that Jesus is on your side (Rom 8:34, 1 John 3:8)
*Mom, this is just a checklist of everything I could think of that people have used to be healed. I didn’t write letters on each topic, but I included Scriptures. If healing is not manifesting in your body, prayerfully review this list.
