Be prepared for meeting with anyone during your afterlife adventures because we can never anticipate what God might organise, and we may be very surprised at what He arranges. Many significant family members who have passed away, including babies, children and older folk, have met NDErs on their arrival at the afterlife venue. However, whomever we meet in the afterlife, we can be reasonably assured that God has organised it and that the meeting is significant for us personally.
Sometimes, NDErs report having been offered the choice as to whether to return to Earth or to stay on in the afterlife. But my impression is that of the many thousands of NDErs, those actually given that choice are exceptions rather than the rule. Others have suddenly found themselves returning to Earth, many of them reluctantly.
Almost all returnees state with conviction that they now see death itself as no more than a change of venue and activity, and that they no longer fear that transition.

To what extent might we really have freedom of choice in life? Keeping in mind that our thinking is apparently our own and not determined by God, although He records all our thoughts, it is therefore how we choose to react to circumstances in life that remains our own choice and responsibility.

Our likeness to our Heavenly Father and being made in His image, and that of His son Jesus, is what enables us to be adopted successfully into His personal family. Other animals can be loved but not adopted into His family as sons and daughters, like we can. What an amazing privilege!
