That baby who lasted just minutes on Earth or even was stillborn, has established his or her credentials as part of your family and perhaps your afterlife future, and you up ahead may even share afterlife activities together – although God makes that level of decision and not us. What sort of future might you be sharing? We cannot predict precise answers, but be assured the afterlife is a very active existence and you will be there, and perhaps doing things alongside that member of your family.
Because we all find the death of babies and children difficult, I will now tackle how I see some of those difficulties. I remember carrying in Rhodesia a small wooden casket in the back of my car between Salisbury and Umtali. In that casket lay the body of a prem who had died and who was a member of our family named Craig. I am now wondering if I will meet him in the afterlife? If I do, it should likely be a fascinating meeting for me, perhaps with an adult Craig, although God will decide the finer details of our reunion.
The death of babies like Craig and of young children raises many questions.
For all of us, death of our bodies at any age is only meaningful if it is not the end of our existence. Relax please, it never is the end!
Modern afterlife experiences prove that at whatever age we might die, our lives continue in an enthralling afterlife.
Some returnees confirm how they met and related to their children now in Paradise, children that had predeceased them on Earth. Quoting one NDEr:
During your experience, did you gain information about an afterlife? Yes. I was told that I would be back. I was also told that I would be reunited with my children that had died (3 miscarriages).
