SEEING GOD

Many NDErs are excited to report that they have met with God and experienced His personal presence. What a gift they have received, and we can rejoice with them!

If God were to appear to you today, how would you recognise Him? The majority of us, including Christians and those of other monotheistic faiths, are not sure. Yet NDErs have no doubts when they recall meeting Him, and are able to describe some of His attributes. Father God has become instantly recognisable to them. The first attribute they encounter is usually His Light.

God’s presence is announced as a bright, shining, radiant Light, similar but having differences from the light we experience on Earth.

Someday, each one of us is going to transition into God’s eternity, and we’d do well to recognise Father God when we first encounter Him. What happens to each of us from then onwards rests entirely in His hands. Forever.

Imagine a young orphan who has been told that he or she was soon to be adopted. Amid excitement and trepidation, that orphan would surely be curious as to what the new parent would look like, and also what he or she would be like as a parent. They would like to see and meet the adopting parent. Yet few people yearn to know those answers about Father God, our potential adopting parent into eternity. Why not? Influences within our society encourage us towards being engrossed in ourselves instead, or in some comparatively trivial ‘famous’ person or ‘influencer’. Think about it, even the advertising world generally focuses on manipulating you, not through love and caring for you, which is God’s motivation, but because they want to influence you in different directions and use you in different ways - and generally would like to use your money too!

What does God look like and what are His plans for our lives if He adopts us? What is our ultimate possible destiny? And why? It may not be what you think, whether you are religiously minded or not. You will find these and other mysteries are unravelled and certain truths revealed as you read on, confirming or challenging some of your presently held convictions: so please be prepared to work your way through them and remain open to incorporating some fresh ideas into your understanding.

Discovering, while on Earth already, who God genuinely is and what His plans are for our futures will mean that our interaction with Him in the afterlife will not be strange and daunting.

The main themes of this book zero in on who God actually is – His physical presentation, His personality, the things He does and His primary purposes for us, the human beings He has created and loves. One way or another, our future after death is going to be entirely in His hands.

The better we know Him and about Him while still on Earth, and the closer the communication we develop with Him, the more substantial will likely be our experiences with Him in the afterlife.

But first, let’s consider what NDEs in general should mean for us while still on Earth - and also their significance for the NDErs themselves.

Too often, NDErs know the details of their own experience, but have not read much or anything about other NDEs or spoken with other NDErs – thus not fully comprehending what has happened to themselves and why. They have formed no significant overview of what their NDE was for and about. This book hopes to round out and present context to help NDErs, alongside preparing us all for upcoming afterlife experiences: me – and you – and everyone else we know.

One returnee to Earth reflected: “Never heard of any afterlife experiences or of a bright Light. Only after the incident, did I try to seek answers.” Thankfully, we do not all have to wait until our death before finding the eternal answers she needed and wanted! You will find some important ones in this book and gather further insights as you read widely and, where possible, chat with NDErs.
