Pain is inevitable. But did you know there is a divine purpose for suffering? The Furnace of Affliction will help those who are struggling with the “why” of pain find hope. This book will encourage readers to look to God, who is greater and higher than any affliction. Horace Williams, Jr., a stroke survivor, well-acquainted with pain, The Furnace of Affliction, blends real stories, practical advice, and biblical truth. Together these elements create a salve that intends to change how you view pain and re-evaluate your response to it.

Friend, you may not feel the effects of God's love during your pain and suffering. However, there is much more to this than what you feel in your fallen flesh
.
Whether you believe it or not, God has a specific purpose and plan for you. Your time spent in the furnace of affliction is an effort to bring about God's plan.
As Dr. Stanley states in his book, Brokenness to Blessings, "God never breaks us in anger or wrath. Rather, God moves in our lives because He loves us too much to see us continue in our sin, remain in a lukewarm spiritual state, or go unfulfilled in His purposes for our lives. God loves us too much to see us remain as we are."
I have an insatiable desire to continue learning about God as I seek to glorify and live for Him. Jubilant exhilaration rushes over me, making me so excited to share what God reveals, whether with a close friend or an article on my website.
It's my prayer that you will recognize the immeasurable love God has for you and embrace it. You, too, can experience His incredible joy in every circumstance when you do.
GOD LOVES YOU!
