Don't let the devil Detour your Destiny

"The devil made me do it!" Do you remember when that was an overused phrase many years ago? The devil is not someone to take lightly at all. He is real, and hell is a real place. Whether you believe it or not, these things are true. He intends to do you great harm. The Bible warns us about this dangerous enemy. He was bold enough to tempt Jesus while here on earth to no avail. Read this verse from Luke 4. When the devil had finished tempting Jesus, he left Him until an opportune time. He wasn't done tempting even Jesus. So, how do you think He approaches you and me? Relentlessly. Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil; he prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8. It may be a sneak attack full of cunningness and guile like with Eve in the garden. Or maybe it's a full-on assault intending to distract and detour you from the destiny God has for you. So be on guard. Stay prepared. Hide God's Word in your heart, and with God's help, you will handle anything the devil has in store for you.
