Two lost souls, one powerful connection. As a Dom for Club Moon, Nick Santos uses bondage to alleviate his anger at being forcefully changed. And when he meets Gwen Waters, his carefully controlled world is turned upside-down. Through her, he'll learn what true self-control is and that being a vampire has its benefits.
Freshly divorced from an abusive ex-husband, Gwen doesn't want another domineering man. But when she meets Nick, a world she only fantasized about is laid before her. Can she trust a Dom who's also a vampire? And can Nick be the man she deserves?
Nick and Ana have an unusual relationship. She's a Donor (someone who freely gives blood to vampires) as well as a submissive, but they're not romantically involved. Nick mixes bondage with blood drinking that satisfies both of them. And soon, Gwen will experience it too...

Carnal Moon
“So I’m waiting.” Ana grabbed the water and twisted the lid open, her eyes on Nick.
“You feel okay?” Nick gave Ana a critical looking over.
“As good as usual.” Ana shrugged as she took a sip of water. “So what’s going on? We don’t normally do simple floggings.”
“I have a date tomorrow night.” Might as well get it over with now.
Ana stared warily for a moment, as if unsure whether Nick was joking or not. “You realize you’re a vampire, right? Are you not happy with me anymore?”
Nick shook his head. “Nothing will change between us. Gwen is different. I’m just not sure how yet.”
Ana rolled her eyes. “Well, that’s not cryptic. Go on.”
“I met Gwen at a show of mine a few months ago. Tara introduced us, and she’s been on my mind ever since.”
“What makes her so special? You’re certainly not the romantic type.”
“That’s what I keep asking myself.” Nick ran a hand through his hair. “I haven’t stopped thinking about her for three months. Tonight, on a whim, I went to see her.”
“And what happened?” Ana’s jade eyes eagerly watched Nick as he left the bed and began pacing.
“We went for coffee. Then I had the bright idea of asking her out. What am I thinking?”
Ana giggled. “So you faked drinking coffee? Do you even know what you ordered?”
Nick gave her a wry smile. “No, honestly, I just picked something from the board.”
A round of laughter came from Ana. “Hold on.” She silently snickered for a few moments as Nick sighed. “Okay, I’m done. So, uh, she isn’t aware of what you are, right?”
“And she isn’t going to be,” Nick finished. “This is a one-time thing.”
“Why?” Ana stared at him in disbelief. “She’s obviously made an impact on you. Why not explore it?”
Nick paused as he glanced at Ana skeptically. “You’re not jealous?”
She shrugged. “I’m past that.”
Resuming his pacing, Nick folded his hands behind his back “I’m not sure if she’s into the fetish lifestyle. She enjoys my photos, so she has some inclination towards it.”
“She will if she stays with you.” Ana chuckled. “And so what? You’ll still have me to torture.”
Nick returned her grin with a dry expression. “Don’t remind me.”
Ana laughed as she gave him the finger. “You’re such an asshole.” She grew more serious. “You should see where this goes. God knows you deserve to be happy.”
Nick snorted. “I’m a vampire. Happiness isn’t part of the package.”
“That’s bullshit.” Ana threw back the comforter and stood up, her eyes determined. “You’re still a person. That doesn’t mean you have to be miserable for the rest of eternity.” She quickly held up a hand as Nick started to protest. “Don’t give me the I’ve-done-horrible-things-in-the-past speech, either. That’s a cop out.”
“Take all the fun out of it,” Nick muttered as he rubbed his eyes.
Ana picked up her red cheongsam. “Maybe she’ll show you a new way of looking at things. One that isn’t so damn depressing.”
“You’re being overly supportive.” Nick deliberated if Ana had lost her mind.
“And you’re being overly stubborn.” Ana stepped into her dress as she gave Nick a pointed look. “Go on the date, see what happens, then go from there.” A twinkle started in her eyes as she zipped up her dress. “And lucky for you, I’m available all night to help you plan. Shall we begin?”
