Grace Allison Blair is an award-winning self-help and motivational author, who has assisted thousands to find their spiritual wisdom to solve everyday challenges. Throughout her adult life, Grace became a serious student of the spiritual. She found that, often, psychological principles and practices were incomplete, but could be filled out by adding the missing spiritual component. Her approach was always to see practical applications for what she uncovered in the mystical. It was through immersing herself in this field of study and experience that she produced her idea for her book, Einstein’s Compass. She lives in Lubbock, Texas, with her husband, Dr. John Blair.
While writing the backstory of my novel, "Einstein's Compass a YA Time Traveler Adventure", I wondered how the god of the sea Poseidon come to create his magical land of Atlantis. Here is a small sample of what I have been working on. Did the Greek gods come from the stars? Are we human hybrids from the stars? Stay tuned as my imagination and research reach for the stars.

Poseidon's Atlantis Adventure
One day, the master of the sea stopped his chariot. In the distance, as he examined the horizon, he saw an enormous land mass with a glowing aura of light. Curious, he investigated. As he reeled onto the shore, the air greeted him warmly, lighter. He felt lifted, more buoyant. The foliage grew to an enormous size. The island seemed otherworldly, an earthly paradise. On the sandy shore was a young maiden dressed in a simple white smock with long golden hair humming a tune while she strolled along the sandy shore picking seashells. Poseidon watched the radiant girl. Her innocence caught his heart. Razing his eyebrows, he wondered who this beautiful creature was. Smitten, a lighthearted feeling, sent tingles all over his body. Cleito glanced up from her water treasures when she heard the splash of water. Coming toward her was a tall burly man with thick black wavy hair flowing over his shoulders, covered in seaweed. Startled, she dropped her seashells and drew backward. As the sea god came near the young woman, Poseidon gazed into the youthful girl’s blue eyes. Gently, in a soft tone, his large hands open, he spoke. “Please do not be afraid. I want to know your name. What is this place you live in? It’s so glorious.” The young woman looked up. The stranger’s eight-foot height blocked out the sun. Her blue eyes sparkled with amusement. She smiled at the curious creature in front of her and spoke. “My name is Cleito. I live here with my parents, Euenor and Leucippus. Let me take you to my home. On the way, I can show you our enchanted land.” Poseidon’s eyes widened when he heard the name Leucippus. He wondered if it could be the same young water nymph he once known. Leucippus, along with her sisters, was one companion of Persephone when the maiden was abducted by Hades, the god of the Underworld. “Wait, let me wash off my coat of seaweed.” Wanting to make a good impression on Cleito’s family, the god of the sea jumped into the salt water and released his fleece into the sea swell and washed his hair. He impaled his golden trident into the soft sand, the sunlight sparkling on the tips of the trident. What if the Leucippus the girl mentioned was the one person he knew? When Poseidon had finished bathing, he joined Cleito on the beach, where they strolled up the path to her hilltop home. The well-worn footpath to the hilltop meandered through lush magical tropical foliage with huge flowering trees and plants. Andara crystals of all shapes and sizes glowed with the power to grow the flora of fragrant lavender, gardenias, and jasmine to an enormous size. Palms trees thirty-feet tall towered over the retreat like a jungle canopy. The sound of marlinspikes, parrots and bosun birds whooping calls echoed in the forest. Tropical birds with satiny white plumage, tinged with pink or orange, and black markings across the eyes and on the wings, flew high above. Within twenty paces, Poseidon closed his eyes, laid his hand on his chest in wonder and stopped. He let out a gasp. He spoke. “Why do I feel so joyful? The energy all around me feels transcendent.” His eyes grew wide with pleasure. Cleito smiled as she turned to the giant man. His eyes glowed with delight. She spoke. “Our paradise sits on one of the planet’s ley lines of natural energy that makes up the Earth’s electromagnetic field. The island rests on a spiraling energy vortex which raises the vibration of the land. The high energy helps balance the chakras of our bodies, keeping us healthier.” The maiden pointed to the variety of different colored shapes and sizes of Andara crystals dotting the landscape. She spoke. “Look at the Andara crystals. Andara’s are high frequency crystals. They are not from this planet. But from a star system far away. Each color has its own healing frequency. They like the high energy vortex of the land and grow easily here.” The unnamed land of Cleito and her family was a garden island covering 4,800 square miles. Draped in emerald valleys, sharp mountain spires and jagged cliffs, the humid tropical lushness to stark, barren, snow-capped mountains, the island offered an astonishing array of climates. The mountains, which extend from sea level to 14,000 feet, contain a climatic range from the tropics to the sub-Arctic. The tropical winter-dry climate is defined by heavy summer rainfall, as well as cool morning and afternoon rainfall because of higher land-surface temperatures strengthened by sea breezes. Nestled into a natural rock formation, Cleito’s magical home jutted out over a large ridge overlooking the ocean. The cobalt blue rooftop could be seen from the beach where the young maiden met the god of the sea. Made of lightweight lava mixed with sand and pumice. Scattered on the walls were diverse sizes, shapes, and colors of Andara crystals. The 3,400 square foot structure was well insulated and could withstand earthquakes and hurricanes. Her father, Euenor, glanced out the open wooden shutters down the path to see his daughter walking toward home with a visitor. In his fifties, seven feet tall, his white hair hung in long locks over his strong tanned shoulders, a short beard gave him a regal presence. He wore a red smock with a seal of a golden eight-star crest covering his belted, white, knee-length tunic. His piercing blue eyes matched his daughter’s. The patriarch called to his wife, Leucippus, who was in the kitchen making the midday meal. “Leu, come see who is walking home with our daughter.” Wiping her hands on a cloth before the meal, Leu scrambled into the dining area and gazed out the window. Her blond hair tied into a bun on top of her head, she wore a floor length white linen tunic tied at the waist with a cotton ribbon. In her late forties, the six-foot matriarch wore a bright smile when she saw Cleito with Poseidon. Leu threw her hand across her mouth. “Oh my gosh, it’s Poseidon.”
