Change
Do You Like It? No, you probably don't.
Since World War II, our society has been affected by drastic change
through forces of fear. Corporate downsizing, Y2K, road rage,
mass murders, and acts of terrorism. Fear is a destructive force
and a cultural phenomenon. All fears, no matter what they are,
separate us from ourselves. Fear closes down our creative
imagination. By imagination, I mean our social contact and
communication with one another. The long-term effects of
living in constant fear are isolation as well as mental and
physical deterioration, a numb-ing of the spirit. It can destroy
people and their lives only if they allow it.
