Then I see her name flash under her picture. It’s the killer attorney, Ayaba Adesanya, with whom I’m meeting today. I missed the beginning of her speech, but she ends by saying that her client is innocent and that it will be proven. I wonder how she’s going to do that when Kelton has already pleaded guilty to the charges. I realize I’ve been pulled into a world I know nothing about. I dress and drive to Hoboken for my appointment.
This initial meeting with Ayaba Adesanya is intense. I brought the information that I could locate on my backup drive. The task force officers took everything else. I explain all my interactions with each of the clients. First Dollar Now and my contracted activities with Mia Lakes. Why she wanted to offer franchises. Then when the problems began and the allegations from potential franchisees. Then we shift to the second client, Fred Armstrong with Trim and Fit.
