Cars rushed past as they continued to speed down the busy highway. The tower that could be seen lit from the distance now stood overlooking their small vehicle.
The unique color to the building gave it an unmistakable name: the Crimson Tower. Even in the cover of night, the windows of the building gave a haunting blood-red hue.
Pulling up to Indivix, they were greeted by multiple security checks and many stops before being allowed near the entrance.
“Mr. and Mrs. Weathers, we apologize for the short notice. The director wished to see you as soon as possible.” A small woman—possibly 5'3”—greeted them as they exited the car. Her shrill voice and loudly clicking heels were hard to miss, despite her small size. “My name is Fay Watt. I oversee new scientists as well as keep order throughout the entire building.”
“Very pleasant to meet you, Ms. Watt.” Lyn was the first to speak, extending her hand for a handshake. The short lady looked skeptically at the outstretched hand before shaking it—but after the interaction, she seemed to sneer with distaste.
“Please follow me.” She glanced between the two before turning on her heel.
Julian trailed behind the small woman, while Lyn stood there for a moment, dumbfounded by the interaction from Ms. Watt. She grumbled before stalking behind the two.
