“Okay. I think I’ll go now.”
He turned to leave, but Ignis called out. “Wait. There is one more thing.”
Jim closed his eyes and turned to Ignis. “You gotta’ be kiddin.’ What else?”
“Nothing to be concerned about. But I want to clear something up.”
“What is it?”
“That business about Daniel Webster?”
“What about it?”
Ignis straightened his tie and lifted his chin. “Never happened.”
Jim grinned. “I’ll pass that along.”
As Jim walked out, he halted and turned to Ignis. “By the way, forget that eternal youth thing. I’ll stick it out as a mere mortal.”
