It's important to me to get my stories to the public in memory of my parents and now my mother-in-law. They loved my stories and I believe that you will too! Here's information about me: Drew has been writing all of his life, or at least from the time he knew what words and stories could do. In second grade he was writing audio plays and now, many...many years later, he's still writing. He's written the Tokorel sci-fi series, which has received numerous accolades, great reviews and awards, and numerous other books both fantastic and original. He loves sci-fi and fantasy but he also writes non-fiction as well. He lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with his wonderful family and runs a video production company to pay the bills, in addition to working for the city Parks Department. He loves people, so feel free to Email him anytime if you have questions about his books or want to chat. He can be reached at email@example.com.
When I write, I love to create really nice good guys that you can fall in love with from the beginning. By the same token, I try to create some really nasty bad guys whom you would never want to become friends with. Corbet is one of those people. He's fun to read about, but being his friend is social suicide. Outwardly, he is kind, friendly and smart, but don't turn your back on him, because he hides a dagger that's ready to to end your career with one swipe should you lose his favor. Take a look at this sarcastic excerpt featuring the bad guy himself!
The Imagination Stone
Corbet looked up and saw a very disappointed Tom standing by the front desk. “Tom!” he said and walked over to within arm’s reach. “I haven’t seen you in a month of Sundays!” Just before reaching Tom, he stopped. The expression on his face changed to one of twisted horror. “What in the world happened to you?” Corbet looked Tom up and down and his look changed to a very disgusted one. “I understand from my friend Roger here,” he said motioning to the gray haired man, “that he intended to meet with you. I happened to be making cold calls at this exact time and found that there was a time slot open. I’m so sorry you couldn’t make the meeting.” Then under his breath, “Not that it would have mattered.”
