Talla flushed and they walked through a gauntlet of people all straining for a glimpse of the now-Tokorellan-looking Khizaran.
They settled into Yorel’s private box, above and to the right of the stage. The play was a musical in Tokorellan. Talla seemed engrossed, but Linsora could only understand enough of the Tokorellan to get a murky idea of the plot. She didn’t want to interrupt Talla’s enjoyment by requesting a translation. Still, the music was of the rousing, emotionally charged variety that Linsora liked. She made a mental note to ask Talla to send the music to Kral’s ship.
The applause rose, the curtain fell, and Linsora smiled at Talla’s shining face. A discreet knock preceded the entry of one of her supposed guides.
