Matt was never good at waiting and became bored easily. He wandered around the small area exploring everything that he could find. “There’s nothing to do,” Matt complained. “How long is this going to take. I’m getting hungry.”
“I’m hoping it won’t be much longer,” Andrew said. “I have to wonder, though, if I’m at Jolena’s house right now, and what I’m doing if I am there. I’ll remember this later but I won’t know, now, what’s going on there.”
Matt became very quiet and Andrew turned to look at him. Matt was just staring at Andrew, his mouth open.
“I really think you’ve lost it, buddy,” Matt said, shaking his head. “What the heck are you talking about?”
“Matt,” Andrew said, “I know that you were sitting right next to me when I told Jolena all about this, but I imagine that you weren’t listening. At least I’m pretty sure you weren’t listening to everything I said.”
“Yeah, I’m pretty sure that was the case as well because I’m totally lost right now. Care to explain it to me?”
