Our post-representative society is plagued with problems – every problem that we gave government the power to stamp out.
How is this possible? Like the gaming consoles that make their money from software, or the products that profit through selling refills: our government maintains its authoritative ascendency through fixing the problems it never fixes – and through its assertions that no one else can.
Serving a public need that is never fulfilled; that becomes a hope; then a wish; and then a part of life’s burdens.
