Separating the facts from the truth is one of the most important duties of bureaucrats in our society.
A local before-school breakfast program announced that they served thousands of complete, nutritious breakfasts to school children – publicly praising their own actions.
The truth is that the children threw almost all of their breakfast into the garbage.
It was more important that the program was fulfilled, than its aims.
In the same way; our social programs are being fulfilled – while a society of compassion and individual human worth is starving to death.
