'Twas the morning of Christmas and just about dawn,
When Blizzy, the elf, came awake with a yawn.
She sleepily turned to the clock with a jerk
And whispered, “Oh, no! I’m late getting to work!”
But then she remembered it was Christmas Day,
The one time all year when her “job” was to play!
For she was the maker of snow globes that swirl:
A very big job for a smallish-type girl.
Her year’s work was done, all the globes packed away
And all been delivered in Santa's red sleigh.
