Author Biography

Donna Wittlif loves to write about God and His Word and how being a Christian helps people overcome their troubles. The characters in her fiction books deal with problems that real people have overcome with God's aid. Donna strives to inspire and teach through her non-fiction books. She has been a Bible class teacher for children and women many years. She gained her knowledge by taking Bible courses in Christian colleges and through turning to God when she lost two husbands, a child, and survived cancer. Donna lives in Texas, where she and her husband enjoy being with family and friends and working with their congregation.

When God Says "No"

Has God ever said "No" to you? Did you feel that He had forsaken you? When we read the Bible, we see that God denied the requests of others. He did not let Moses go into the Promised Land. God refused to heal Paul's infirmity. He told His own Son "No". Did that mean that God did not love them? We know He loved them. So why would your loving Heavenly Father tell you "No"? If our Father is the all-knowing, all-powerful, ever-present God we believe Him to be, why won’t He answer our prayer with a “Yes”? These are some of mankind’s oldest questions. Job struggled with them.
