Hollywood heartthrob Quinn Thomas has everything to make his life complete, but he wants more. Quinn tests his wife's love, even though he knows she's not into playing games. He puts it all on the line--his family, his friends, and his reputation. Will Quinn, and if he does, at what cost to everyone involved?
Deborah Armstrong believes in love, romance, and happily ever after. Although she is still in search of that perfect cup of coffee, she finds time to enjoy her favourite past times: reading, music, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
Little did I know when I wrote this scene in Love's Games that we would need to install gates on our farm. My fictional life makes its way into my real life in surprising ways.
Thanks to my wonderful daughter-in-law, who got the ball rolling, we have security gates on the farm. The gate leading to the farmhouse is beautiful and serves a much-needed purpose. It provides peace of mind and security, keeping the outside world outside.
We answer calls at our gates or on the phone daily from people who want a tour, a job, or to purchase raw milk. We no longer provide tours because we don't have the time. Our employees are great, they don't leave us, so we have no job openings. It's illegal to sell raw milk to the public, so we don't sell it. The fine for doing so is not worth the cost of a litre of milk.
Although the gates aren't one hundred percent effective (not everyone thinks a closed gate means Stay Out), we are thankful for the peace of mind and privacy they provide.

Love's Games
Quinn stopped his Porsche at the farm gates. He gazed up the lane toward the farmhouse. So much had changed since he had married Davi and begun his life as the farmer’s husband. They erected a fence around the farm to keep paparazzi and overzealous fans off the property, including security gates with video surveillance.
