Bobby began telling him what happened, starting with the train. “I think that it’s important to note that we got off on the eighth stop. It was obviously an earlier time than her first trip. The baby’s life was not in danger yet.” He went on to tell them that the woman who had attempted to drown the baby was evidently a lady that showed up on this second trip to apply for the nanny position.
Paul stood, and seemed worried. He left the room, saying that he’d be back soon. As much as he hated it, he needed to find Jeremy. When he arrived to Jeremy’s room, the door was open slightly. “Is that you, Paul? If so, get your sorry ass inside, and close the door. What took you so long?”
Asking Jeremy for help was difficult. He hated him, and much preferred being in control over the two of them. They’d struggled for power over each other from the time when they’d shared the pizza. Since then, that night was referred to as simply, the pizza party. One thing they did agree on about that night was how tasty it was, what a great cook the poor slob had been. They had become different men during that meal, literally. Quinton became Paul. David Moss, after being manipulated by Quinton for 20 years, believed that he hated Gloria and needed revenge for the way she had treated them all those years ago. David Moss became Jeremy that night.
But the truth of it was that they had studied together all those years, so putting their knowledge together was crucial during this crisis.
