Looking at him in disbelief, Mori stood and walked around the table. “Yea, I know who to talk to, but if you think I’m gonna take her, you’re out of your mind.” She glared at Gloria with disdain.
Gloria scoffed at her fit. “Look, little lady, if it weren’t for me, life at Sticks would be a bore. Now, if you think you’re not up for the challenge, fine. Wimp out.” She turned to Cue. “Forget her, just tell me who to contact and I can get enough stuff to make this place look like a museum.”
“Why, you witch. You don’t know these people around here. Cue, you’re gonna get what you want if I do it.”
Katie was amused at the catfight that was brewing, but knew it was time to intervene before it got out of hand. “It sounds like you’re the perfect duo. Just do it, ladies. Maybe you’ll decide that you really don’t hate each other so much if you spend some time together. God knows, if you two could learn to get along better, it would be an improvement around here.”
