Who is Lev?
One of my most interesting characters is Lev. Many of my readers have commented on how much they like him. So, what makes Lev, or any other character interesting? Body language, reaction, inaction, and omission of not just truth but body language, reaction, inaction, etc., is what builds a character and thus, I think, makes him interesting. I like to "watch" my characters and how they interact with other characters. Often I laugh along with them or cry or get angry. It all makes for a lot of fun when creating that type of character.

“You’ll never guess who his daddy is.”
Estelle folded her hands behind her back and leaned against the tower exterior. “Who? Some big general in the Marines?”
“Nope, his daddy is Arizona Senator Buddy Worther. He’s a big deal. He’s the one owned all that solar stuff.” Theo paused, “You know, the Icarusaton Project. The federal government bought into it and it went belly up. The bastard made a mint. And Worther’s daddy, Lev’s grandpa, was supposedly tied to an arms supplier for some of the dictators that cropped up in the Caribbean back in the fifties and sixties. And it doesn’t stop there.” A broad smile stretched across his face. “And old Worther’s daddy, Lev’s great grandpa, was a bootlegger during Prohibition. I’d say it runs in the family—corruption, that is.”
