Gwen screamed, “Don’t let go of me!”

Jack struggled to hold on to her hand as she dangled from the side of the bridge over the icy water, forty meters below. Many of the bridge lights were out on this run down bridge, but she’d insisted on walking on the wide railing back from dinner in an effort to get the best selfies. She had taken off her cap to show off her new bright red streaks of hair, with her smiling face next to his in one shot. She was on the rail crouched down, and he, who stood at six foot three inches, was tired of her antics. She was always the more adventuresome of the two, as she coaxed him to walk on the wild side with her. This time she wished she hadn’t.

He was a reasonably strong male. However, the awkward grasp he had of her hand, coupled with his fear of heights and bridges, made him struggle for control of his faculties. He angrily stated, “No more desserts for you! Geeze, you weigh a ton!”

Now finally grasping the gravity of the situation, she shrieked, “Pull me back up, Jack! Pull me back up, and I swear I will lose the weight you’ve been grousing about! Please, honey? Don’t let me fall into the water!”

Jack, now mad and scared, admonished, “Why’d you jump when the truck honked at us? You afraid they might see us doing something stupid?”

Gwen was crying and pleading as she explained, “Jack, the horn startled me, and I lost my footing! Please pull me up, dammit! My arm is hurting, and yours must be too!”

Jack shot back with annoyance. “I could lift you, if I had both of my hands. My other hand is holding me here so I don’t follow you into the drink! If I just had a lighter female to heft up or I had superhuman strength, this would be all over!

“Say, wait a minute! An adrenaline rush! That’s what I need! Say something to make me mad! Make me mad enough to heft you up!”

From her depths, Gwen summoned the most aggravating taunt she could think of and shouted, “Your brother’s cock is bigger than yours!”

Jack roared, “I said mad, not insane!
