EZ now calmed down a bit and nuzzled a little closer to him as she suggested, “I expect the best medicine for them is to be back in the game doing family business. That will quickly return the first stage of self-worth.
“Once they see that their skillsets are valued for work, they’ll have to cross paths. Then they can work on gathering back the lost feelings they had for each other. I don’t think they lost their feelings, just their way. Perhaps a bit of stubbornness. That’s the way I see it playing out.”
Quip nodded approvingly, gave her a hug, and added, “Not only are you an excellent unified communications specialist, you’re pretty good too at assessing the personal issues of a couple. Uh, will you remind me to tell you how wonderful you are, if I don’t say it often enough?”
EZ got even closer to Quip and in a very sultry voice murmured, “Honey, you should tell me how wonderful I am.”
Quip stared into her eyes but before he could say anything, EZ asked, “Honey, you’ve been home over forty minutes so how come I’m still wearing my bra?”
