After Jacob opened the door, Buzz pushed through the doorway in a hurry and commented, “Naked again, I see. Here are your clothes that I collected along the way from the street to the door. By the way, the old ladies next door were leering out the window at me, hoping for more strip show antics. The young mother next door is threatening to call the police at the next peep show you put on. She complained that her two children can’t be left out to play in the late afternoons because of what you might do. Buddy, you are going to have to lighten up!”
Jacob gave Buzz a disinterested gaze for a few moments and then asked, “Can you scrub my tattoo again with anti-bacterial soap? It’s only a couple more days, and she’ll be ready to face the world.”
Without waiting for a response, Jacob headed to the shower and started the water.
Buzz followed him to the shower, then whistled as he exclaimed, “Dude, she is one fine dragon! Now that she is more healed and less red, I can appreciate her shimmery scales and delicate but powerful wings. She is the picture of grace ready for flight, yet somehow menacing!
