Two hours later, in front of a painted back drop of a moonlight lake. Elvis married Lillian Skye Brunin to Steven Giorgios Thepolemas on the condition that no one in the room was ever allowed call Steve by that name again on pain of death. Directly following the Elvis love song serenade, they partyed in the casino until ten the next morning.
Steve and Lily did not emerge the following day. Janelle and Marc flew to Hawaii. Criss, Nate, Angel and Juliet caught some of the shows around town and gambled. Criss asked Juliet if she was sure she didn’t just want to do the same thing, but she said, “I told you I want the fairy tale.”
“But this is a rock stars fairy tale,” Criss joked.
“Its not mine,” she retorted, “I would never marry anyone I truly loved like this.”
No one saw Lily or Steve again until Sunday. By then, the press got wind of the marriage and was swarming the airport. Steve hated the press.
“Mr., Gio,” one yelled, "Did you come to Vegas to get married?”
“No,” he yelled back, “We wanted kids so we came here to adopt a showgirl.”
“Steve,” another said, “What does Trish have to say about all of this.”
“She says she wants to join us in the bedroom when we get back,” he replied.
“Really?”
“No you twit! How the hell should I know what she says, we’re divorced!”
The banter continued like that for the entire length of the airport.
