Zella was playing with Harvey in Nursery Heaven when she heard Jesus calling her. “Be right there,” she answered. Moving swiftly, she was quickly at His throne.
He opened His arms as she arrived and enveloped her in a warm hug. “How’s my princess?”
I am having so much fun! I was just teaching Harvey how to fly. It’s even more fun to teach than to learn!”
They laughed together and Jesus said, “I am glad you are having fun helping Harvey. Are you ready for another mission to Earth?”
“Sure! When do we go?”
“Right now.”
Zella turned toward Harvey, “I’ll be right back,” she said as she waved. Because there was no time in Heaven, her trips to Earth appeared to take no time at all to those in heaven.
Taking Jesus’ hand, Zella looked up expectantly, “Where to this time?”
“Back to Arkansas. You will be helping Harvey’s little sister in this trip.”
“Is she coming here too?”
“No, in this mission, you will be going there.”
“Oh, my!”
“Don’t worry, I just need you to be a friend, and remind her how much I love her.”
“I think I can do that. Doesn’t she have any friends?”
“She is feeling left out, and we don’t want that to turn into bitterness. She is part of a big family, but is feeling unloved. You see, she is not the favored child, but many people I use are not the favored one, like Leah.”
“Leah? Oh, I have met her and she told me her story. It is hard to believe her sister was more beautiful than her when they were on earth.”
“Lots of things change when people cross over to this side.”
