With Halloween coming up I thought I should involve Captain Polo, my main comic book character.
Inspiration for this story was lacking at first: Captain Polo is all about climate change, sustainability. How to tie this in with Halloween?
My teenage son gave me the idea: making your own Halloween costume rather than buying one is actually a form of climate action - it's all about reusing and recycling what we already have lying around the house. Did you know that the clothing industry emits more planet-warming carbon emissions than the aviation and shipping industries combined? Use your imagination and creativity to craft the best Halloween party ever - no need to buy fancy dress stuff!
And that is Captain Polo's message in this children's story.
