There will be times when we lose confidence in ourselves. When our writing doesn’t seem to flow the way it used to, and it seems that the river of our creativity has dried up. This is natural; there is a rhythm of writing that ebbs and flows for each individual writer. Sometimes we sit blocked, managing to dribble out only a few short, ordinary lines, while all our writer friends churn out poem after breath-taking poem every time their pencils touch the page. Then it is our turn, and we can’t write fast enough to keep up with the images flowing from our minds.
