A change in health and a love of storytelling moved Gary from a 27-year career in Computer and Software Engineering to Author.
Gary's favorite writing genre is mystery/thrillers. His debut novel, and first in the Berserker series, "Joshua and the Shadow of Death" released Oct 30, 2018. His second novel in the Berserker series, "Harold and the Angel of Death" is set to release May 2019.

Gary provides free short stories on his website and runs a weekly livestream on Tuesday via his Twitch channel, gmacwriter, where he talks about writing with his health challenges and engages reader's questions.
I love a good ghost story. Don't ask me why because I hate being scared. The best sort of ghost stories start out with "This really happened." Well, these stories by Lucius really happened. Lucius still manages to find humor even in the creepiest of circumstances. Open up "Befuddled in St. Augustine" when you want to read something that will make you laugh and also turn on all the lights in the house.

Humor Deeper Than A Holler
Now I reckon, if most folks were honest, they’d tell you they have at least one ghost story in their life. Of course, nobody talks much about their brush with the supernatural on account of folks gossipin’ around the neighborhood or hollerin’ on social media. Let’s be honest, we all have that crazy cousin or uncle who has traveled to or lives in some old house and will tell you wild tales of apparitions or things that go bump in the night.
