Day2
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God”
Philippians 4:6
Arise, dear soul, as I carefully reflect on who You are!
Early do I seek Your countenance. I delight in You O Lord; You are the Lord of all that has power and prevails. Thank you for being the God that speaks to me and before whom I can stand and kneel before. I appreciate the many chances you have afforded me to begin again.
Help me to remain humble and patient! Give me the boldness today to ask you for those things that I want and I need, that are in your will. God I acknowledge that if it’s not in your will for me to have, then don’t give me anything that you don’t want me to have. Help me to receive all that you have for me.
You have done many great things and have made them known! I understand that I am fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image, and I bask in that! Today, I will walk in Your magnificence! Help me to be consumed by Your love. Then, place that same love inside of me so that I might be full of Your love, peace and joy! Let all of my words and deeds demonstrate who You are in a mighty way!
For it is by Your grace and mercy that You have kept me from all evil and harm; and has graciously protected me. If You hadn’t been my shield and my help, calamities would have engulfed me, and I would not be in a place of health and safety. Therefore, I thank You for protection from the enemy. I will continue to call to You from the depths of my heart, and my supplication will ascend to You. Continue to safeguard me and those around me from the wiles and power of the devil, from sin and disgrace and wickedness. Without You, I can do nothing! Help me this day to begin all of my work in Your name and end it joyously, not for myself, but for your glory and divine majesty.
Now God, preserve my soul, mind, senses, and thoughts. Safeguard me against the destruction of my enemies that they cannot harm me, secretly nor openly, nor injure me with their craft and cunning violence or malice. O God, Father and Lord of my life, shield me from all impurities and disorderly conduct. Keep me from all forms of greed and turn me from shameful thoughts. Grant whatever is pleasing to You and useful to me, that I may serve You in true faith. Look upon me with Your eyes of mercy. You are the Savior of the world! Enlighten my heart and eyes, so that I may walk in the light of Your grace, which rises above me.
I pray these things in the matchless name of Christ Jesus; I declare and believe all of these things to be so! Amen!
